Xin chỉ giúp về partition table

Em ko hiểu "partition table" để làm gì??
Định nghĩa của nó em cũng không tìm thấy nhưng nó lại được nói rất nhìu trong FAT va NTFS
Nó có ý nghĩa gì??

Vậy mong các pác chỉ giúp em về định nghĩa,ý nghĩa của nó.

partition table là 1 bảng dữ liệu nhỏ đc đặt ở sector đầu tiên của Hard Disk,lưu giữ mọi thông tin liên quan đến HD vd: file system, cluster, size, partitions vv..
FAT va NTFS chính là file system.

NTFS (New Technology File System)
v1.2 sử dụng cho NT 3.51 and NT 4
v3.0 sử dụng cho Windows 2000
v3.1 sử dụng cho XP, Windows Server 2003, and Windows VistaNTFS file system sử dụng MFT(Master File Table) để quản lý tất cả các files trên phân vùng NTFS.
